Madhumeha
Ayurveda views diabetes as a metabolic disorder caused by an imbalance in the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Predominantly, Kapha imbalance leads to sluggishness and weight gain. The condition, known as Madhumeha, results in excessive sugar in the blood and urine, disrupting Agni (digestive power) and causing toxin accumulation (Ama), which further impairs metabolism.
